The Search for the Philosopher's Stone

I watched Full Metal Alchemist last night. It was really awesome. I was a little lost b/c I had not seen the first episode though, but orcapotter who told me to watch it had filled me in on the details a little. I was watching it and I swear the character Al sounded familair. I remember being told that one of the character's voices was from Fruits Basket but I couldn't remember who. Oh I looked it up on the Anime News Network website and it says Al is the same person as Young Akito. That was right she told me that. Oh and for any of you who have seen both Fruits Basket and Full Metal Alchemist the voice of Lust is the same as Tohru Honda. I though that was a little bizzare.

Now for all you people who have read Harry Potter, did I get your attention? The characters in this anime are searching for the Philosopher's (Sorcerer's) Stone. Yes this is the same stone in the first Harry Potter book. The stone has all kinds of healing properties and other uses and the two characters Al and Ed need the stone to get back their bodies after a terrible accident that left Ed with a bionic arm and leg, and Al with no body at all. I'm not really going to go into too much more so if you are interested here is the official link below. I don't know if i'll be able to watch it on Saturday but it repeats on thursday night. But I definatly watch it again.
